Can you cross the Spanish border by scooter from Saint-Jean-de-Luz?
Yes, and it’s even one of our customers’ favourite rides. Hendaye-Irun is 12 km away via the D810 or N10, and you can then freely cross the border (Schengen zone). You can push on to Hondarribia or San Sebastian. Important: our scooters are insured in Spain for tourist use. Check your green card before you go.

It’s the major advantage of a scooter in Saint-Jean-de-Luz: while cars circle for an hour looking for parking, you’re already on the sand. A U-lock is provided with the rental — attach the scooter to a bolted-down metal ring.
