How do I rent a scooter in Biarritz with Biarritz Bike?
To rent a scooter in Biarritz, there are two options: book directly online at biarritz-bike.fr by choosing your model (50cc, 125cc or electric scooter), your dates and the delivery option, or call us on +33 7 49 61 38 68 from Monday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (except Tuesday). Our shop is in the heart of Biarritz and we also deliver to Anglet, Bayonne, Bidart and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Which documents do I need to provide?
A valid ID (identity card or passport) and the right licence: AM (or B) licence for a 50cc scooter, A1, A2 or A licence for a 125cc scooter.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank cards (Visa, Mastercard), cash and ANCV holiday vouchers. A deposit is requested when you collect the scooter, usually through a card imprint (not charged if the scooter is returned in good condition).
Can I cancel my scooter booking in Biarritz?
Yes, you can cancel your scooter booking in Biarritz. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start of the rental, the conditions are the most flexible. Can I extend the rental period?

What age and licence are required?
To rent a 50cc scooter in Biarritz, you must be at least 18 and hold an AM licence (BSR) or a B licence (car). To rent a 125cc scooter in Biarritz, you must be at least 21 and hold an A1, A2 or A licence, or a B licence held for at least 2 years, plus the 7-hour training. Scooter rental to a minor is not possible.
Are the helmet and safety equipment included?
Yes, every scooter rental in Biarritz includes, free of charge: an approved helmet (in your size), a pair of gloves and a lock. If you ride two-up, we provide a second helmet at no extra cost.
What should I do in case of breakdown or problem?
In case of breakdown, puncture or mechanical problem, call us immediately on +33 7 49 61 38 68 before doing anything. Depending on the situation, we arrange on-site assistance or a scooter swap as quickly as possible. Never try to repair the scooter yourself: your safety and the warranty depend on it.

No, you must be of legal age (18 minimum) to rent a scooter in Biarritz, even a 50cc scooter. The AM licence (BSR) can be taken from age 14, but it is not enough to sign the rental contract.
